In Siksika culture, extended family stretches far beyond just grandparents or uncles and aunts.
A Siksika kinship caregiver can be any person who has had a significant relationship with the child and their family.
At Siksika Children's Services we believe in taking a holistic approach to ensure the well being of all Siksika children.
To achieve this, we offer intervention services designed to protect children from physical, sexual, or emotional abuse and neglect.
While working for Siksika Children's Services, our employees enjoy a benefits package and pension plan.
We also host an annual health & wellness week for all employees, in addition to bi-monthly cultural workshops.
Siksika culture, traditions, values and community resources and partnerships are utilized to support and strengthen children, youth and families.
